Born at Madrid (Spain) in 1965. He has background in such areas like Computing, Robotics and Business Administration, with a degree in Computer Sciences at the Polytechnic University of Madrid, a Master in Data Communications, two Masters in Business Administration, from IESE (Navarra University) and Les Heures (Barcelona University) and a Six Sigma project management degree. He has worked for the Honeywell Group (Industrial and home automation sector) for ten years as Information Technology Director for Spain and Portugal. Has worked for IBM Group for three years as Service Manager in the Outsourcing area. Has been also researching in the Robotics area, developing several robots that have been showed at different congresses and events (Clawar, Hispabot, Sicfima, RoboNexus, Carnegie Mellon..). His robot Melanie won the National Robotics Contest in 2004. Has given conferences and chats about robotics in different congresses, events y and research centers around the world. Has colaborated with TV channels and other media for the promotion of robotics. In 2005 he founds Quark Robotics S.L. In 2006 is elected President of the Robotics and Home Automation Society of Spain (ARDE). |
